Atmospheric Control Systems Opens the Canopy to a Public Trial

THE CANOPY, 15 September 2026: Atmospheric Control Systems, Inc. (“ACS”) today announced the opening of a public trial of the Atmospheric Allocation Ledger, giving anyone, anywhere, the opportunity to reserve a single sky-cell for a single six-hour block, at no charge and with no signup.
The trial marks the next milestone in a ten-year programme of atmospheric leadership. It draws exclusively from residual Ledger inventory: the sky-cells and allocation blocks that remain once the Canopy’s standing commitments to members have been fulfilled in full. Members’ allocations are not affected, diluted or, in the company’s preferred term, shared.

Participants select a sky-cell and an allocation block. The Ledger verifies availability, a ground station transmits the reservation to three Stratoweaver satellites, and a numbered ticket is issued. ACS expects this streamlined, end-to-end experience to unlock meaningful engagement across the residual inventory ecosystem.
Trial highlights
- No signup, no payment and no personal data collected.
- Reservations drawn from residual Ledger inventory only.
- Three of the day’s four six-hour allocation blocks (morning, afternoon and evening), available up to seven days ahead. The overnight block remains reserved for members.
- Delivery to any of the Canopy’s sky-cells, uplinked via five ground stations: Lapwing, Plover, Osprey, Harrier and Shrike.
- Signature Events remain reserved for members.

Membership remains closed
ACS wishes to be clear that the public trial is not a membership offer. Enrolment in the Stratus, Cumulonimbus and Sovereign tiers is not available to the public, and the Canopy is operating at full allocation. Interested parties are warmly encouraged to enjoy the trial.
